Balance Bot - DIY Kit
Machines & Motion Series
Short Product Description
A fun hands-on physics kit where kids build a balancing robot that uses adjustable counterweights to find perfect equilibrium. With every tweak, children see how center of gravity, stability and weight distribution affect motion—turning real science into playful discovery.
What’s Inside the Box
-
Pre-cut basil wood sheets (all BalanceBot parts)
-
Counterweight discs
-
Wooden axle & pivot stand
-
Rubber bands
-
Pegs & connectors
-
Illustrated instruction manual
How It Works
Kids assemble the BalanceBot’s long beam and mount it on the central pivot. By sliding the counterweights along the arms, they experiment with balance and stability. A small shift in weight changes how the bot tilts, teaching real engineering concepts through hands-on play.
What Kids Learn
