Wind Energy Farm - DIY Kit
Short Product Description
Build your own mini wind farm and discover how clean, renewable energy is generated! This hands-on kit teaches kids how wind turbines work, how electricity is produced, and how multiple turbines can power devices together.
What’s Inside the Box
-
Laser-cut wooden turbine tower parts (for 3 wind turbines)
-
Precision-cut blades
-
Wooden bases & connector pegs
-
Mini generator/motor
-
LED light module
-
Rubber bands & connectors
-
Instruction booklet with assembly + experiments
-
Additional wooden discs & spacers
How It Works
Kids assemble three turbines and arrange them on the shared base.
As the blades spin, the turbines turn a small generator, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy.
When enough wind is created (fan or natural breeze), the LED lights up — demonstrating real energy production.
They can experiment with:
-
Blade angles
-
Turbine spacing
-
Wind speed
-
Single vs. multi-turbine output
This turns the model into a real renewable-energy learning lab.
